1 Month Update

ONE MONTH UPDATE!!!

Maddox weighs 10 lbs!

He had his first cold. Big brother shared his runny nose and newborns are NO fun when congestion.

We are sleeping 2-3 hours consecutively. But since being congested, it’s less than that at times.

He still likes to sleep on his tummy. This makes the congestion issue worse as it tries to drain out and he starts that nasty rattling sound when he sleeps—poor guy!

He drinks 4 oz at time, sometimes more!  We are still nursing, but at times we supplement with formula. I think he is eating more than I am producing.

Big Brother Mark is showing more interest in his little brother. Still not much, but a little more. He likes to count his toes and fingers. He will usually throw diapers away or hand me things. We keep praising him for being a “Big Helper” and “Good Big Brother” hoping that will sink in. We will see!

PS: So we are technically we are a late on our 1  month update.  Maddox is 7 weeks old…but that’s how it rolls in this house at the moment.
